| Although Cécile
Denis first learned harp in France, it was in Canada, under the tutelage of Judy
Loman that she really embraced her passion for the harp. After she graduated from
the University of Toronto and after a few years of freelancing in Southern Ontario,
Cécile moved to Saskatchewan where she became Principal harp with the Regina
Symphony Orchestra and the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra. Since
her move to Regina, Cécile has enjoyed performing with the RSO, the RSO
chamber players and the SSO chamber players. She also runs the harp and harp ensemble
programmes at the Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Regina. |
